Which PEB projects has SEED delivered?
Our recorded PEB work includes eight steel sheds at Kundai, near Bahawalpur, and a crane-served workshop in Rawalpindi. We also list a facility at Chaapu, which was an RCC building, not a PEB.

Which wind and seismic loads apply in Islamabad and Rawalpindi?
Each site gets its own wind speed and seismic parameters under the Building Code of Pakistan 2021, which refers to ASCE 7-16. Steel members and connections are then designed to AISC 360-16.
The twin cities sit close to the Margalla foothills and the Potohar plateau. Ground conditions change from plot to plot, so we ask for a soil report before the foundations are fixed. Anchor bolts and base plates follow from the same loads.
A shed designed for a lighter load can look cheaper on paper. Ask every bidder to state the wind speed, seismic values and code used in the offer. Our guide What is a pre-engineered building? explains how these loads shape the frame.
Do you need approval to build a PEB in Islamabad or Rawalpindi?
Usually, yes. The approving body depends on where the plot sits. In Islamabad, building plans go to the Capital Development Authority (CDA). In Rawalpindi city areas, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) applies its own building and zoning regulations.
For a plot in a cantonment or a private housing scheme, check the approval route with the scheme or the cantonment board. Who files the plan is agreed in the contract. We provide the structural drawings and design basis the submission needs.

The programme depends on size, cranes, approvals and the foundations. We give a dated programme with every quotation.
