The package within the programme
The Multan Metro Bus project provides a documented reference for SEED’s steel construction experience. Matracon Pakistan’s letter of award dated appoints SEED for prefabricated steel and allied works as part of the wider metro construction programme.
The award describes supply and erection of metrobus stations and allied works. It identifies Multan Development Authority as the client. SEED’s relationship was through Matracon Pakistan as main contractor.
This is a reference for the contracted steel package. It is not presented as a direct government award to SEED or as an EPC appointment for the whole metro system.
What the completion record establishes
The retained completion certificate records substantial completion of SEED’s prefabricated steel works effective . It identifies the project authority, main contractor and subcontractor consistently with the award.
The certificate also refers to outstanding minor works and the maintenance period. Accordingly, “substantial completion certified” is the milestone used on this page. It is not expanded into an unsupported claim about final maintenance certification or every part of the overall metro programme.
Why the role matters in an EPC assessment
Industrial construction procurement often combines several packages. A steel reference is useful when it shows what the contractor actually supplied and erected, how it sat within the main contract, and the milestone supported by the records.
For a factory, warehouse or workshop enquiry, compare that experience with the package you need. Steel erection, industrial floors, building services and complete facility handover involve different responsibilities. Ask for relevant evidence for each part of the proposed scope.
The EPC proposal comparison guide turns these distinctions into questions for a contractor shortlist. The industrial facility case study adds a separate industrial building-services reference with original site photography.
About this project record
This case presents historical SEED experience through SEED Works. Its factual basis is the signed award letter dated 25 March 2017 and the retained completion certificate dated 5 December 2017.
For a steel construction enquiry, identify the supply and erection scope, available design information, site access and the handover milestone you need to achieve.
